Leuthoria

Government

Leuth is ruled by the Twin Hearts of Atarr. Every fifty years they switch places, one ruling over the kingdom, the other ruling over the church of Atarr. Because of the close bond between the church and government the city guards are the paladins of Atarr.

Defences

The entire city is surrounded by a maze of tall walls where the paladins can watch over their charges and keep the peace. There is only one entrance/exit to this city, and it is across the bridge that spans the river the city was built beside, and entrance to the city is watched over by two elite Paladin's who decide who can and cannot enter the city.

Industry & Trade

Leuth is a rich settlement with multiple shopping centers throughout the city. Because of this there is a dock area on the other side of the river. Anything someone wants to take into the city must pass an inspection by the Knights of Atarr, who may refuse to allow items to pass into the city at their will should they deem the items dangerous or unsanctified by the church.

Infrastructure

This is a heavily religious city with multiple temples, churches, shrines, and other such places of worship at every turn. It is a prosperous city with extensive shopping centers and beautiful guardens. The main jewel of the city is the temple/palace where Atarr's statue is kept and the Twin Hearts reside.

Guilds and Factions

Geography

Leuthoria is surrounded by the rolling hills and vast plains of Leuth. The Emerald Mountains stand to Leuthoria's back, trailing into gentle, tree covered hills as it sweeps towards the city. To the City's front in the Heart River which cuts the city off from the vast farmlands that take up the rest of the kingdom.
