The Dragon Choosing (Zahrahmiik bo)

History

Legends tell of a time when the Ancient dragons would sweep through the lands stealing maiden, princes and princesses. Whisking them away to their lairs where they were never seen again. Many a knight tried valiantly to rescue them, but to no avail.   As time passed and the humans drove the dragons from their lands the dragonborn, in an attempt to appease their angry, agitated gods, freely sacrificed themselves hoping to calm their rage. These blessed souls, the Fonaar, are revered amongst the clans.   Chosen of the Gods, devoting their lives to serving and caring for the dragons. It is a sacred service that many dragonborn willingly enter into and dream of their whole lives.

Execution

Every dragonborn wishing to participate in the Choosing Ceremony will spend weeks or even months creating a Revakgolz in hopes that they will attract the attention of the dragons. When the month arrives Dragons will visit the cities seeking a dragonborn servant. They will travel between the different clans in their search. Anyone wearing a Revakgolz around their neck is offering their services to their god and are free game. When a dragon has Chosen they will then take their new Fonaar and leave. If the dragon doesn't make a choice by the end of the month the remaining participants may offer their stones directly to the dragon who will sort through them and decide if there is one worthy within them.
