The Day everything changed.

There was a time when the Gods walked Myrth side by side with their followers. But their presence made the lesser Gods, the Demigods, jealous. They sought a way to steal that power for themselves and take what they considered to be their place in the hierarchy. The traitors crafted a weapon unlike anything seen ever before, something that could effect even the Gods themselves. They plotted in silence for centuries before they finally struck. They took out the Gods one by one, one Arrow to the heart for each of the divine. The weapon didn't kill them, after all they were Gods and a God cannot be destroyed so easily. But it did render them powerless, turning them to stone where they stood.
