General Summary
- Two statues about the size of a telephone pole.
- A shirtless man holding an exquisite staff, toned woman in chiton wielding a sword with a hilt that resembles the light blade.
- They're supporting each other with one arm, and brandishing their weapon with the other against an unknown foe in the sky.
- At the base of the statues are innumerable skulls, trinkets made of bead, shell, and bone, and several long dead husks of intellect devourers
- An orange frog-like humanoid, about as tall as akimbo, stands in front of the statues.
- it is garbed in animal bones and has wrapped jungle vines around its entire arms which are then entwined around its fingers.
- it's holding a small gnarled staff in imitation of the looming statue above it.
- it seems to be addressing a small crowd of several dozen green and blue frogs. Mostly green, who are wielding shortbows, spears, and blowguns.
- it is gesturing animatedly at a bulky figure at its feet - one of the beaked, tentacled brains from the Heart of Ubtao
- The Clan follows these creatures to what appears to be an impenetrable hedgerow maze.
- They manage to get inside and are ambushed by grung warriors.
- An elven woman with the trappings of a researcher greets them, introduces herself as Daphne, and brings them to the king.
