Session 5 - Kobs and Gobs

General Summary

The party instructs Meepo to take them to visit Yusdrayl. Meepo announces their arrival with a password, which warns the guards not to attack.
The party speaks with Yusdrayl, who speaks common well enough. She has a set of magic items, and offers two for the return of Calcryx, the tribe's dragon. The items include a fancy feather (magical), a key (possibly to the magic dragon doors near the entrance). She also offered the for sale for 50g. The party accepts the offer of Meepo's guidance to seek the dragon.
Nearly immediately, the party finds a Gnome priest, Erky Timbers, that was captured by the goblins some time ago. The party immediately frees the poor Gnome, and provide him some basic equipment. Rather than leave, he elects to join the party.
The party encounters several groups of goblins, giant rats, and traps, as well as a magical fountain, which they are able to collect a potion of Fire Breath in. They also find the remains of Karakas, the ranger of the missing party, in a room full of rats.
After clearing some halls full of goblins, the party does find the missing dragon, but upon seeing how much the dragon hates Meepo (he one-shotted Meepo), the party elects not to capture the dragon, and instead allows it to escape.
Then, upon finding the heart of the goblin village, the party encounters [goblin shaman], who explains that they do not wish to fight, but negotiates the magic fruit in exchange for overthrowing the Hobgoblins that are ruling over their clan, Durnn and his 3 underlings, as well as the mage down in the grove below. The party considers this and agrees to the terms. She also informs the party that the missing adventurers were taken by Durnn to the Mage below, but not before Durnn killed Talgen.
After a short rest, the party sneaks up on Durnn's room's back door, and gets surprise advantage on Durnn and his cronies, though not on the shrubbery.
The party makes efficient work of the battle. On Durnn and his cronies, the party finds a chain with Talgen's signet ring, and a silver earring with moonstones and a matching necklace, also as the evening winds down the party reaches 3rd level, and takes a long rest in anticipation of finding a way down to the grove.
