Necro Spirits

Beings of darkness and evil, the closest thing the world has to demons, these demonic spirits have been plaguing the world, and in particular, Kairine Kamuya for ages. Depending on the Necro Spirit, they have various kinds of powers, such as the ability to possess people, which they use to infiltrate and destabilize the world.
A part of the myth that is most obscure is that they are said to be merely minions, pawns on a chess board, serving masters cloaked in darkness and shadow, the Ancient Ones.
