Historical Details
History
The kingdoms of Arkele and Feirson used to be at war with each other, each constantly raiding the other. But in the years leading up to this document, the kingdoms found themselves under attack by a much greater threat, the Frenzied Folk. As the attacking hordes grew ever more aggressive and the two kingdoms lost more and more ground, the two kingdoms finally agreed to meet on neutral ground at the island of Isledor to discuss an alliance.
Public Reaction
The people of Arkele were more warlike than the people of Feirson and were less thrilled about the alliance, but both sides were aware of the need for strong allies against the Frenzied Folk. By the end of the war, each group had gained an appreciation for the skills of the other, and the unification of their two kingdoms was made official by the marriage between John Erbin of Arkele and Arieth of Feirson, leading to a lasting peace.
Legacy
The alliance formed in this document would eventually lead to the unification of their nations, resulting in the territory of Archren, which would go on to become a major power in the west of Flindreck.
