Animaleipis

Animaleipis, the missing soul. A condition wherein the afflicteds soul is disconnected from their body or consumed in some way, while still allowing them to remain alive.

Symptoms

When a creature loses their soul they lose their will to live and most of their emotions. Oftentimes if a creature is afflicted with Animalepis they'll find themself with no motivation, metaphorically losing their soul in addition to the literal loss. In most cases, those suffering from this loss will commit suicide within a short time.
Due to the sparks connection to the soul, those who lose their souls will also lose their sparks and ability to do magic through the routes of embercasting and sparkcasting.
