We are in ancient and mythical Greece. The land of heroes and gods. Wrathful gods demand praise and worship. Cults comply and work unde the order of the gods. Mythical creatures roam the lands and evoke fear in those who see them.
The war against Persia is more than half century past - the last stand of 300 Spartans has become tale and almost myth. An anti-persian policy has forced Athens and Sparta into a feeble truce, that was doomed from the start. Corinth has become jealous of Athens status as the leader of the Delean League and the weatlth it garnered though this position. Corinth found an ally in Sparta and together they declared war against Athens. A war that has now already lasted 10 years draining both sides of resources and wearing the people down. None seem to be able to gain the upper hand. As if something was doing everything within its power to keep this war going - why, who and how are questions that remain unanswered.
