Era beginning/end
The land, washed clean of men, transitions from the Age of Bronze to the Age of Stone, the Third and Fourth Ages of Mankind in Hesiod's Theogony.
The deluge ends, having wiped out the population of the Age of Bronze. In Hellas, survivors include Deukaleon and Pyrrha, who repopulate the region with humans sown from stones. Another survivor, Talos, would survive in Krete. Other survivors include Noah and Gilgamesh.
