Council of Elders Holds First-Ever Emergency Meeting

This morning, the chairman Zangrim Wagglefern has called for the first-ever emergency meeting of the Council of Elders to discuss matters related to the city's security. The nature of this threat to the city has yet to be announced, but one thing is certain: for an emergency meeting to be called, it must be serious.

King Leonidas to Visit Clonio?

Yesterday afternoon, the governor responded to our inquiries regarding the possibility of King Leonidas attending the Clonio World Fair, stating that "his attendance is expected, but not guaranteed". If he does choose to attend, it would be a historic moment for Clonio, as this would be his first time visiting the city.

Whether he comes to the fair or not, he will have our warmest welcome whenever he comes around.

Update on the Missing Orphans Case

In an interview with police chief Jaylen Ross this morning, he revealed that he has officially assigned the Stonebreeze Detective Agency to the case. If you have not heard of them before, you are not alone. They are relatively new to the scene, but have proven themselves reliable; this group of sleuths managed to capture Baku, leader of the Black Smoke, effectively bringing an end to the gang's reign of terror in this fine city.

Any information that can aid the group in solving the case will be rewarded if it is found to be accurate. To report a tip, dial 811 and you will be patched to the police station's non-emergency operator.

The Rat-pocalypse?

Only two days after our first story covering the resurgance of Andrea's rat population, the problem is not any better. In fact, it is a lot worse. Several rats the size of children have been seen wandering alleys, digging through dumpsters, and even eating small dogs they presumably killed. At the rate they are growing, with no end in sight, they will soon reach the size of cars. There is some good news, however.

The rats of this size appear to only come out at night, so, if you live in Andrea or the southern side of Olympia, it is advised that you do not go out at night under any circumstances

Some believe this phenomena to be caused by lycanthropy, but researchers have ruled that out since nobody that has been bitten by the rats have developed any symptoms of lycanthropy. Whatever the cause, let us pray that it stops sometime soon.
