This morning, the governor has made his first press release in exactly one week. In it he explains that his absence was due to a personal battle he was having with the infamous Stonelung disease.
For the few who are unfamiliar, Stonelung is a respiratory disease that, more often than not, results in an infected individual turning to stone. Even with top-of-the-line treatment, it is rare for someone to catch it and avoid this fate.
In any case, it is a relief knowing that the governor is back in perfect health.
Rat Problem Shrinking?
Researchers looking into Andrea's rat problem have taken note of a peculiar fact: the rats are getting smaller. At nearly the same rate they had increased in size, Andrea's rats are now decreasing in size. While they have yet to discover an explanation as to why this is, they have projected that this shrinking phenomenon is likely to continue at least until the rats have returned to a normal size.
