Tawura Kaer Welun 29th, 1350Governor Mobilizes Clonio Militia
It is still unclear what was discussed during the secret events of the emergency meeting this Dian Kaer, but whatever it was must be vastly more important than originally suspected as the governor has called for the local militia to take up arms. Their mission: patrol the city's Northwest border.
By the governor's order, no one may enter or leave the city across that border without his express permission. This leads us to the conclusion that a dangerous threat of some kind has been discovered in that area, but we cannot be certain. We took the time to interview some of the local servicemen patrolling the area about the nature of their assignment. From what we heard, they are just as clueless as the rest of us.

Felling Forestalled
In light of the moblization of the Clonio Militia, the plans to begin felling paths into the forest have been put on hold. It is unclear when the project is going to resume. If you were recently hired to aid in the felling of these paths, fear not! The governor has agreed to compensate you for the terrible inconvenience in the form of 2 weeks of full pay, follwed by another 2 weeks of half pay. This decision was made to allow for workers who are now out-of-a-job to find new employment.
Blood Moon Expected
Thanks to the aid of various astronomical scholars, it has been determined that the perfect conditions for a blood moon will be present on the night of Majakir 1st. While the name sounds menacing, blood moons are actually harmless, so there is nothing to fear. Starting at midnight on Majakir 1st, the moon will begin to darken before turning a bright, crimson red. This phenomena is fairly rare, so be sure to set some time aside to witness it.
Open House at Pathik's Academy of the Arcane
During the first week of Majakir, Pathik's Academy of the Arcane will open its doors to the public for the first time in 5 years! All are welcome, whether you are there as a prospective student or an established spellcaster. Pathik has promised mystical sights and delicious foods to everyone that attends. This is a rarity, so be sure to stop by if you have any interest in the study or practice of magic.

This is the moment we've all been waiting for! The Souldiers have announced their tour dates, where they will debut their latest and most anticipated album yet, Heralds of Hellfire. The best part is that they will be kicking off their tour right here on Majakir 15th in the Thunder Eel Thunderdome! Obituaries
Tremont Smith - At the young age of 57, the famed locksmith, Tremont Smith, has been presumed dead. This is following a wellness check that was performed on his shop, Tremont's Tremendous Keys & Locks, in Sinclaire Circle that was prompted by its apparent vacancy. The officers that perfomed the wellness check found no recent evidence of Tremont. This led them to follow up with a wellness check on his home in Lower Strekk, which had fallen into similar disrepair. The wereabouts of his body and the events leading up to his death are unkown and they are likely to remain that way since the situation meets all the criteria of a cold case.
