Group of Ragtag Bounty Hunters Capture Public Enemy Number One!
Earlier today, a group that calls themselves The Stone Breeze Detective Agency managed to catch the uncatchable. Goregon, the apparent leader of The Black Smoke, is now in police custody and is being questioned thoroughly. If his actions did not already paint him as a madman, his deranged ravings from his cell certainly do. Police Chief Riner says, “We’re not exactly sure how they managed to do it, but we are certainly happy to have such a menace behind bars. The retail and food service industries can rest assured that The Black Smoke is a problem that has been dealt with accordingly.” He finishes his statement by assuring the businesses that have been wronged by Goregon and his fellow gang members that their stolen items returned to them as soon as possible.
Coming Soon: The First Ever Clonio World Fair
Governor Victor Bentley announced over the radio this morning that the first ever Clonio World Fair will be hosted in Lower Strekk early next year. While the exact date and location have yet to be determined, this event is promised to showcase the latest and greatest inventions and inventors in Clonio with special guest appearances by Soggy Steelballs, inventor of the Simple Enigma Lock, Prince Andreas Leyenda, Prince Gerard Leyenda, and many more! In an interview with Soggy, he revealed that his exhibit will showcase his greatest invention to date. While he refused to elaborate on his invention, his enthusiasm assured us that anyone that visits his stall at the fair will be amazed.
Battle of the Beasts: Who Will Reign Victorious?
Stormlash, owner of The Thunder Eel Thunderdome, has announced the return of the annual battle royale, “The Battle of the Beasts”. In this competition, anyone may enter, but only one may win. The victor will receive one year free pass with up to ten guests in a VIP box at the thunderdome, 10,000GP, and a mystery reward that will only be revealed to the winner once they have been determined. The event will be held on the 31st of Onkmet and the deadline to apply for a spot in the fray is the 1st of Onkmet.
