Session 2

General Summary

The session starts with Claudia rejoining the party, having tracked them through the sewers to The Black Smoke's secret sewer hideout. With the party reunited, Kit sent Caboodle to scout out part of the hideout before they enter. Once they enter, they find a warforged in a cage. He reveals his name is Bouncer and that he works for The Common Expanse. The party picks the lock on his cage and instructs him to wait until they give the all clear. The party then searches through the hideout, waking up 2 bandits in the process. The party makes quick works of them and continues their search. The party finds a map of The Common Expanse with numerous markings on it, multiple barrels of various alcohols, and a large sum of gold. While the party contemplates how to divvy up the findings, Goregon and a large group of gang members return to the hideout. The group quickly incapacitates Goregon, but the same cannot be said for his entourage. After numerous threats, words of persuasion, and moral dilemmas discussed, the party managed to convince the remaining gang members to back down. The party then tied up Goregon, freed Bouncer, and headed off to the police station to claim their bounty. While there, Gurat had an extensive conversation with Police Chief Riner. The party then returned to Tremont Manor, where they open the mail they had received. Xaverie got a newspaper from the Nutty Eagle Newsstand and Vaision got a letter from his mother regarding his inheritance. After reading the mail, they party started to smell freshly cooked food. Upon investigating the kitchen, they discovered that the same 2 animated suits of armour that cooked breakfast are now cooking dinner. While waiting, Claudia decided to teach the rest of the party how to play a card game... The party also decided to call themselves The Stone Breeze Detective Agency (SBDA for short)
