The Ghost of Yammitjir
The leader and founder of The Specters is a 378 year-old wood elf known as "Ghost". He earned his name serving in The War of the Open Planes 200 years ago. During this time he was molded from a young recruit to one of the deadliest snipers in the country's history, credited with 94 kills with his Longbow, and 63 assists.
Ghost became a living legend during this war where he fought as a spy and saboteur accredited for his outstanding stealth skills, said to have snuck behind enemy lines 7 times in the War of the Open Plains to sabotage enemy supplies and artillery. The enemy never once saw him in this time, and came to believe that Yammitjir Valley was haunted due to all the sabotage and misfortune that befell them, earning his reputation as an unseen ghost. After the war he was given numerous honors and a large plot of land in Yammitjir valley. By that time Ghost had become hardened and cynical, willing to go to any length to survive and succeed.
After a long retirement Ghost got bored and wanted to hunt bigger, more challenging prey to test himself. Despite fighting in the Vrittanian army against Veskan in the war, he has since retired from the army and is willing to accept a contract from any employer, even those he has previously fought against. Eventually this led to him becoming an assassin-for-hire, using his wartime reputation to demand top-pay from clients. Now he seeks to find others to take on smaller contracts and give him a source of income while he hunts the largest, most worthy prey he can find.
