The Potential are a set of six constellations that seem to move throughout the night sky, shining brightly over those who need hope, and revitalizing the will of those who are lost. They are the Lion who courts courage, the Serpent who tends life, the Mask who reveals evil, the Dial who measures time, the Dragon who looks within, and the Wheel that binds them together in the sky. Unlike normal constellations, they can’t be seen most of the time, only when the need is great, and even then it is exceedingly rare to see more than the one that is needed most. Simply gazing upon the right constellation at the right time can fill a mortal with energy to fight their own demons and work wonders. Of those who have been helped by an appearance of these stars, some feel further inspired to guide others in the same way, and to these lucky mortals the Potential is always visible, illuminating their path even in the brightest daylight.
