Mivarek Services

Mivarek Services is a group of several smaller companies that together provide most services. They operate primarily in Doruna, Wylchit, and Helfyr, though they are always open to expanding.

Structure

The Head of the Board works for the consortium directly. They are responsible for enacting the board's decisions, and also act as a tie-breaker if the board has an even number of members and don't reach a majority. They have the most authority in the organization. The Head of Compliance is responsible for ensuring all the companies are following the Board's decisions. They and the entire Compliance department work for the consortium directly. They have the second most authority in the organization. Mivarek Services is lead by a board with a representative from each of the companies that comprise the consortium. Typically the representative is the CEO (or similar, if the title is different) but the companies can choose whoever they want to represent their interests. They have the third most authority in the organization. Beyond that, the hierarchy tends to follow the specific rules of the companies that comprise the consortium. Any conflicts of interest or authority are decided by the Internal Arbitration department. Internal Arbitration is lead by three people. When this position needs filled, staff is selected by the Board from the Compliance department. They have Arbitration Officers stationed in each major office, one for each, but if a decision either cannot be made or it is challenged, it gets presented to the leaders of the department. They make an official position and the results will be recorded and applied across the consortium by the Compliance department.

Assets

The island Helfyr, many buildings across Doruna and Wylchit, a variety of weapons for security personnel, five ships, two roads that go between Doruna and Wylchit, a large staff across all sectors, and many resources.

Demography and Population

Helfyr is a prison work camp. The population is primarily criminals and security staff, with a few Compliance and Internal Arbitration officers and their families (if applicable). The birth rate is basically non-existent. There are some births, but they are rare, especially among the prisoners.

Territories

Helfyr was not a populated island before. Mivarek Services colonized it for use as a prison work camp that they were contracted to run for Doruna.

Military

The Security and Compliance departments are typically armed. Security has more serious weapons, Compliance is typically armed with more defensive options.

Foreign Relations

Mivarek Services has a very strong relationship with Doruna. They have a large influence on Wylchit but they are seen very negatively by the people there.

Laws

The rules of the organization were initially more flexible, but as they gained influence became stricter and more harshly enforced over time. Employees who are caught breaking the rules are fired, or if they are breaking any laws in the areas Mivarek Services operates in, they are sent to Helfyr.
