Kataigida the Goddess of Storm and Disaster, embodies the worst of the elements. Depicted as a woman made of storm itself, she is composed of pure destructive energy. It is said her presence is enough to catalyze natural disasters as they ravage the globe. Her worship is stemmed from the desire for protection, and the knowledge that with destruction comes new life. Kataigida is thought of as a custodian of sorts. Her presence meant to clean up the bits of existence that are not meant to be.
Most of the time Kataigida spends, is in slumber. One can equate her activity to woman who is very protective of her property and a house body, only getting up when interlopers disturb her peace and harmony. To that note while in slumber she transforms the surrounding environment into a hotspot of tectonic activity.
