Everyone speaks Niat Common. 50% of those speak primordial. A further 25% speak Draconic.

Respect the hierarchy of the household, and the clan. The elements are a sacred force that revolve in all things, and shape their practice. Honor and discipline have enabled artistic innovation in all practice from military, to science.

Hierarchy of the family usually in the realm of respect the older family members. Those of ruling class should be obeyed without question in the name of the integrity of any unit you belong to.

Niat dress in simple robes with artistic design. Each clan have distinct styles of clothing generally many display a sense of colorful artistry, and reserve. Niat are simplistic in their idea of beauty though many of said attractions revolve around the associated element of their upbringing. Universally Niat care more for discipline, skill, and creativity before physical attraction.
Gender Ideals
Niat conform towards a patriarchal leaning, however this tends to vary from region to region, dependent on the whim of the "Guardian". Quiet often parents will have a favorite child based solely on sex simply to honor their "Guardian".
Courtship Ideals
Courtship is usually arranged by parental figures as a means to grow families, unite clans, or even gain favor from their "Guardian". It is acceptable for a couple to unite themselves, but this occurs less often do to focus on cultural pursuits. If that were to be the case however courtship is frowned upon between clashing elements such as water and fire.
Relationship Ideals
Much the same as the courtship, once the match making is done couples will be expected to unite under ceremony following customs set forth by the regional "Guardian/s" in question.
