Polertos
Specter of War
Polertos, the God of War is often depicted as a menacing knight clad in red armor. He rides a fiery steed through the lands creating conflict and thriving off of the wars he starts. Though enemies of the Gith created goblins, Polertos is first and for most a Goblin god. His one track mind often centered on conflict and warmongering. Corrupting the souls of those who have fallen in battle without just cause, he fuels his eternal crusade and enjoys every minute of it.
Polertos appears as an omen of war and if you see him you are marked for damnation. Amongst the Colonists he was a well respected soldier in the line of duty for the colonists. During the Godswar when the hobgoblins nearly felled him in battle, he possessed a war-chief creating the ultimate solider. In doing so he created a genetic memory network. This went haywire and caused a rampant growth in goblin kin and the ultimate end to Gith reign. He lives on in the memory of his creations as a god like specter of war. A ghost in the memory machine given sentience, simply out of the memory of his past. On occasion his memory resurfaces in a mortal host to enact his whim. Polertos is otherwise well and truly dead. However his imprint resided within a Goddeath prison.
