Beastfolk

Beastfolk are common in the modern era of the world. According to common legend, a the death of the god of knowledge sparked a great awakening that mass evolved many beasts in the image of humanity. these new beings would propogate and quickly become an integral part of Na'Endreth. Beast folk have no record before the godswar. Their ties to the Gith are close to none. Instead beastfolk share a connection to nature and the fey gods as well as the many beast Loa of the world.   Universally, the beastfolk have features combining both human and and beast, although this appearance is usually confined to the coincidental. Upon closer inspection, may features that seem strikingly similar don't precisely line up with their animalistic 'counterparts'. Their ties to humanity are convergent at best. While some very much are humanoid they are much closer to the beast then they are humans themselves. This connection is simply magically coaxed evolution.
