The New Gods

The people of Nadmir, at the very least across Mesothalassos, put faces on their gods that match up to their cultural expectations and social coding. All gods of Mesothalassos are members of the same pantheon of gods, but have different names and depictions depending on where you go.   Historically, the New Gods were worshipped primarily by Nordmarkers and the giants of Hrïmske. Worship of these gods spread as human culture migrated across Mesothalassos and eventually became rooted in local cultures.

Major Gods

The Major Gods of Nadmir were created by the Primordial Dragons to aid in their fight against the Elder Powers. These six are worshipped nearly everywhere in Mesothalassos and by humans and other races in Heldiszios.
The Great Father

Known in Antivassos and Weswyn as Ravos, in Nordmark and Hrïmske as Hrimvos, and in Kaza'ir as Shulf.   The Great Father has dominion over all other gods, and his domain is magic, mystery, diplomacy, leadership, duty, and sacred ritual.
The World-Mother

Known in Antivassos and Weswyn as Haea, in Nordmark and Hrïmske as Luraboga, and in Kaza'ir as Rasha.   The World-Mother has dominion over all wild creatures and places of Nadmir, and her domain is nature, wild growth, ancient secrets, stormy seas, and worship without ritual.
The Raven Queen

Known in Antivassos and Weswyn as Skomia, in Nordmark and Hrïmske as Smeraboga, and in Kaza'ir as Naza. The Raven Queen is also the only god known or worshipped in Rastenholm, and is simply known as the Raven Queen there.   The Raven Queen has dominion over the restful dead and tombs and graves of the world, and her domain is timely death, the dead, passage of souls, war, and the harvest.
The Arbiter

Known in Antivassos and Weswyn as Tyvorix, in Nordmark and Hrïmske as Zakobog, and in Kaza'ir as Jaza.   The Arbiter has dominion over courts of law, and his domain is justice, law, the household, bureaucracy, and Paladins.
The Thunderer

Known in Antivassos and Weswyn as Haklis, in Nordmark and Hrïmske as Gromaboga, and in Kaza'ir as Kola.   The Thunderer has dominion over the skies of Nadmir and her domain is lightning, thunder, storms, wind, and primal rage.
The Mariner

Known in Antivassos and Weswyn as Prosos, in Nordmark and Hrïmske as Matrosibog, and in Kaza'ir as Bihar.   The Mariner has dominion over the sea and the horizon, and his domain is calm seas, navigation, maritime trade, islands, and the fathomless depths. He is the patron god of most Merfolk.

Minor Gods

The Minor Gods of Nadmir were created after the War of the Gods, usually when powerful mortals ascended to godhood. The Minor Gods are primarily worshipped in Weswyn and Antivassos - less so in other parts of the world, though they do have a presence in places like Kaza'ir and Nordmark.
The Undying

Known in Antivassos and Weswyn as Remnorix, in Nordmark and Hrïmske as Draugabog, and in Kaza'ir as Nyarlathotep.   The Undying has dominion over the undead, and his domain is untimely death, untimely life, disease, pestilence, forbidden knowledge, and desecration of holy places.
The Scholar

The Wayfinder

The Traveler

The Smith

Known in Antivassos as Mirios, in Nordmark and Hrïmske as Meslebog, and in Kaza'ir as Nani.   The Smith has dominion over forges and places of crafting and creation, and his domain is the forge, the hearth, creation, craftsmanship, and gift-giving.
The Tunneler

Known in Antivassos and Weswyn as Harixes, in Nordmark and Hrïmske as Borun, and in Kaza'ir as Mujim.   The Tunneler has dominion over the deep places of the earth, mines, and caverns, and his domain is mining, hidden treasures, hoarded wealth, buried secrets, and the mountains. He is the patron deity of most mountain dwarves, and is said to protect the surface and the shallow tunnels of the dwarves from the horrors of the Underdark.

Holy Saints

Among certain followers of the New Gods, some historical figures are held in high regard as champions and saints of many deities. In Weswyner households, it is less common to have a patron deity and more common to have a patron saint. This confers all of the blessings the deity would confer, but through their champion rather than directly through worship of the god themself. There are dozens of saints revered across Mesothalassos - primarily in Weswyn and Isambard, but elsewhere as well - but some of the oldest and most ubiquitous are listed here.   Saint Karsten the Just - Champion of the Arbiter. Patron saint of lawmakers and paladins.   Saint Isolde the Wise - Champion of the Great Father. Patron saint of magic and mystery.   Saint Hyrax the Generous - Champion of the World-Mother. Patron saint of farmers and rangers.   Saint Elise the Kind - Champion of the Wayfinder. Patron saint of innkeepers and watchwardens.   Saint Stola the Serene - Champion of the Raven Queen. Patron saint of undertakers, undead-hunters, and gravediggers.   Saint Lissa the Blind - Champion of the Undying One. Patron saint of necromancers, beggars, and graverobbers.   Saint Germaine the Steadfast - Champion of the Thunderer. Patron saint of captains, warchiefs, and berserkers.   Saint Laren the Two-Faced - Champion of the Traveler. Patron saint of tricksters, thieves, and charlatans.
