Sanguinum Vampirus

Created by a deranged cult of maddened mages, this affliction was made to be a transformative agent to turn Humans into True Vampires. It didn't work of course and ended up making the fairy tale version of vampires, garlic, crosses, holy water, etc.

The ailment is transmitted via bite or blood.

Causes

The cause of this malady is a bite or the blood of an infected individual.

Symptoms

It has a few physical symptoms and a few mental symptoms. The physical symptoms it causes are the extension of the canine teeth, the requirement of blood to sustain themself, and an aversion to sunlight. Some of the mental flaws of the disease are a disdain of short-lived creatures, warped perception of beauty, and a general hatred of non-afflicated.

History

The first known case was a mage in ancient tribal times, whose name has been lost to time. All that is known is that he was a human mage that engineered this plague.
