The Ordo Arcanorum Interfector

The Order of Arcane Assassins are a guild of assassins that, such as the title says, assassinates people using magical or malign powers. This guild was created during a very drawn out civil war in The Eladrin Imperium. Despite the Imperium receding the guild stayed and passed to the hands of the human mages and assassins.

Structure

The head, that being the Maximus Interfectorum, is the leader of the entire guild followed by the Minorus Interfectorum, who are anyone who hasn't proved themselves against the leader.

The halls of the Assassins hold a thousand years worth of powerful scrolls with such scrolls including Power Word Stun, Power Word Kill, Disintegrate

History

When the Guild was founded it was the Year 927 V.E. of the Imperial Calendar; it was in the midst of a brutal all out civil war between two brothers of the ruling dynasty. The Court Mage, who's name has been lost to Lady time, decided in secret to end the war one way or another. Assassins had been no mystery to the brothers but all of them were mundane assassins, none were of a magical variety. So the Mage setup an operation to send in an assassin with one thing, a scroll with power word kill. It was a success for the Mage for his plan had succeeded, however the assassin was killed as they had no escape plan, so the rogue accepted their fate and died for the cause. Ever since then the escape plan has improved as have the assassination methods.
