Absorb Elements
1st-Level Abjuration
Effect
This spell is often used as a defense in combat, able to capture the energy of an incoming elemental attack. The caster can then use whatever was absorbed and fire it back on their opponent, making the spell useful as both defense and offense.
Manifestation
When the spell is cast, a blue shimmering field will engulf the caster, swirling around them like a second skin. Elements absorbed by this spell will remain in the field, swirling with energy, until the caster launches them back at their opponent.
