The caster creates glowing darts of magical force from their hand. These darts will be whatever the color of the caster's magic, and when sent towards a target, all strike simultaneously, inflicting the damage of brute force. When cast at 2nd level or higher, the spell creates one more dart for each level above 1st.

Side/Secondary Effects

Those who receive the full force of magic missile may potentially see arcane scarring in the color of the caster's magic around depressions in the skin where the missile struck.

Manifestation

Onlookers of magic missile have described the three missiles as seeming to burst into existence before hurling through the air in streaks of magical light.
