Agdoni
Agdoni is a primary language of the Riverlands, spoken primarily by the halflings of Wejnazeer. It vastly predates the formation of Wejnazeer, and has mostly remained used along the rivers that run to the Cradle.
Phonology
Agdoni is a quickly spoken language that is notable for including light whistling in certain pronunciations. The effect is largely used for emphasis and inflection, much the same as one would shift the pitch of their voice to convey emotions.
Written Agdoni includes this as a single stroked letter, placed at the beginning and ends of sentences to inform the reader of emotional weight. With the aid of this stroke, novels written in fluent Agdoni can feel drastically more dramatic, while novice writing reads as almost robotic or uncomfortable.
Native speakers of Agdoni often feel as if other languages are emotionless sounding before becoming more comfortable with them.
