Phonology
Holtan Orcish is a sharp, brusque language as aptly suited for short, straightforward sentences that require the listener to interpret as well as longer more complex concepts. The language is constructed with a small vocabulary of simple, broad concepts that are iteratively clarified and expanded on with additional syllables and words.
Because there is a significant portion of interpretation, context is more important than in other languages, and written text tends to be very long. Oral tradition is strong among speakers, if only because writing things down requires massive amounts of clarification.
