Iccotian Gang Wars
The Iccotian Gang Wars was a period roughly seven days long marked by massive gang activity, murders, and betrayals that ultimately left two Iccotian councilors dead and numerous others arrested. It is an infamous period of Iccot's history, and remains a topic of occasional conversation even eight years later.
Summary
The gang wars were kicked off when councilor Shi Pam was found murdered in her home on the 16th of Eht, 3941 EC. An investigation ensued that ended up stirring up the gangs of Iccot into a frenzy, leading to violence on the streets.
Several others were found murdered over the following several days, their deaths ultimately determined to have been caused by then guard captain Olud Dreft
Fighting on the streets between the criminal organizations of Iccot and the forces of the councilors of Iccot continued until on the the eve of the new year, councilor Kil Nadorsk was murdered by Dreft. Fighting continued among the gang for nearly two days before it finally settled. Several other deaths are attributed to Dreft, in addition to the deaths caused by gang warfare.
Persons of Note
- Shi Pam - Iccot's first councilor of Sauvian descent, her murder sent shockwaves through the city. The identity of her killer is still unknown.
- Kil Nadorsk - A short tenured councilor who was choked to death by Dreft at Nadorsk's own new years party.
- Olud Dreft - At the time of Shi Pam's murder, Dreft was a captain of the guard in Iccot city. He was involved in the investigation of Pam's death. He was not apprehended, and remains at large with a notable bounty on his head.
- Ee Lunabend - A former city guard partner of Dreft, Ee was an elven city guard lieutenant who was found dead. Divination of her corpse revealed that her killer was Dreft.
