Nyt

Nyt is a god associated with lies, puppets, and constructs. It was created by Malthet, and said to be the brother of the god of constructs, G'shos.
It has few worshippers and no formal church, as its goals are inscrutable. Other than its hatred for its creator and loyalty to its brother, Nyt makes few commandments and reveals few goals. Rumors of Nyt enacting divine punishment on mortals are more common than expected for a god with so few worshippers.

Divine Symbols & Sigils

Nyt's primary symbols are puppets such as itself, and mirrors. It is said that Nyt knows the truth of any lie said in front of a mirror - the shards of the Eidolic Mirror is said to share this property. It is unknown whether the mirror is a creation of Nyt or another entity. Some suggest it was a gift made by his brother by G'Shos.

Identifying Characteristics

Nyt is generally depicted as a ragged wooden marionette, paint faded and chipped. The exact design of the marionette varies depending on the artist and culture it is being depicted by, but it is always a humanoid shape.

It was strange, really. I could feel every hair on my body stand up, my heart beating in my chest, my mouth dry. All from a simple question I had answered it a hundred times, through smiles and sadness. Friends and foes alike had asked.
