Ode to Eclipse

Eclipse made the way to the forest that laughed,
Their odds of success would not look good if graphed,
And so full of gnolls the forest was,
That all the bushes were covered in jaws,

Deawynn brave and bold led the way,
The rest followed ready to find their prey,
The silence broke with a massive howl,
From the woods came the gnolls so foul,

They fought to the center with all their might,
Where they saw a most terrible sight,
A giant monster had made its lair,
Ten times the size of this bear,
*Boris the bear rises on his back legs menacingly*

Blades and magic came down as one,
The beast was felled, the day was won,
And the group beheld a grand sight,
As from its heart rose an angel all of light,

When Eclipse returned to Rivershore,
They were showered with praise and gold galore,
But they steeled their hearts because they knew,
There was money to be made in Vernoff too
