Felin
The country of Felin is seen as the spiritual home of the Elves. Though in the mass travel and movement of Namarie that name almost seems lost to time at this point.
The land was spawned into existence during the founding of Namarie and was one of the first lands alongside Nephil. They were two of the lands responsible for the disappearance of the dominating and brutal Forsaken race and, though the race of Nephil were annihilated in their attempts to beat back the Forsaken, Felin survived and slowly their people left the land and explored to establish the varied race of Elves across Namarie.
Felin now has become a land that clings heavily to it's history and legacy though is now in a slow circle as it is used as a space for Elves to find spiritualism.
Felin's claim to fame is also it being a strong source of magic due to being so close to the Kastlands, with this magic pervading the land they founded the schools of the Bladesingers. Academies that are deeply selective to train those who wish to be bladesinger wizards.
Structure
The country is governed by a 'Crown' a person who is destined to rule Felin by their birthright after fulfilling a variety of roles in the courts to prove they are educated and capable. If one cannot reach the necessary standard to become 'The Crown' then it passes onto the next heir. For this reason the Crown family have had many children hoping that at least one will live up to the near impossible standards.
The Crown is always surrounded by trusted advisors from the different bladesinger schools and various walks of life. An Elf having the opportunity to advise the crown is many a fey creature's dream.
Public Agenda
Felin's public agenda has been to simply maintain it's traditions and proud history as well as establish it's schools for it's own and other countries protection.
Assets
Felin is a wealthy town in culture and practise though often they have been short on funds due to a lack of diversity and trading though their skill in magic has ensured they continue to survive and thrive to an extent.
The fact many elves leave Felin after bladesinger training and it is used as a space of pilgrimage often means their population is far smaller than implied and so they have a level of security there.
History
Felin can trace their lineages and history as far back as the Kastlands and openly record the battles their people and the Nephil had with the founding race known as the Forsaken. Their country are also some of the first founders of magic and there are many who believe the God-Magi to be from Felin.
After the destruction of the Forsaken and the Nephil Felin scattered, some stayed in their homeland and founded the schools of war. The Bladesinger schools, other Felin Elves travelled across Namarie and slowly began to settle there as other races came into being to join the Felin Elves.
Territories
They live in their historical lands just off the Kastlands. Many other countries have considered occupying Felin to be closer to the Kastlands but generally do not risk it due to the political and cultural ramifications.
Though their tensions with Peridot are currently increasing due to the Crown of Felin's impetuous and Peridot's poor political etiquettes. With war on the horizon many other countries are concerned that they may have to pick a side including Vallea and Thornden who have utilised a strong stance of neutrality.
Military
Felin's people are all capable of magic and combat prowess, all being trained bladesingers as part of their arcane educations. A popular Felin proverb is 'We may be simple to conquer but we will be impossible to rule.' due to their peoples powers and abilities as well as their staunch pride and willingness to die for their lands.
Felin also has a group of bodyguards to the Crown called 'Schooled' they are Elves that excelled in the schools of the bladesingers but did not become teachers. They are skilled warriors and mages and live to protect the Crown and the land of Felin.
Technological Level
They have small inserts of magitech and runic energy from Peridot such as Runic lamps and the occassional skyship though they mostly cling to their ideals and reliance on magic.
Religion
They worship the God-Magi as though they were Felin Elves and often associate their schools to them. They specifically worship the God-Magi known as 'The Bladesong' as they widely believe that this God-Magi gifted Felin their unique brand of magic.
Foreign Relations
Felin shares a space of neutrality, they don't openly trade with other countries in deals or other such things and are one of the few lands not reliant on runic shards in some way or another.
They have often quarrelled with Nomtai and the Crown has had disagreements with the Coldaine family over the way they have sold their lands and politics to Peridot with such ease.
They also regard Thornden with distrust and outright disregard... this reached a head of tensions when Felin's Crown announced he would not recognise the Elves of Thornden as the lineage of Felin.
Possibly, the worst situation for Felin is their current tensions with Peridot as the land recognise the strengths of Felin geographically for exploring and researching the Kastlands whilst Felin are openly against other countries using them as a geographical springboard.
Recent tensions heightened when the Crown of Felin executed two Peridot diplomats over comments they made about the Felin lands and their people.
Agriculture & Industry
Their agriculture is based on community work and farming on the lands. Harvest and agriculture is something taught at the Bladesinger Schools.
Trade & Transport
Felin has a single skyship dock in it's capital for trade and visits from other countries... it sticks out like crazy for that reason.
Apart from that the Bladesinger schools each have teleportation circles for those given permission to use them.
Education
The people of Felin are trained in nursery like schools at a young age and then they move on to the Schools of the Bladesong when they come of age. They audition for each school and are selected dependent upon impressing the masters and numbers at each school. This is compulsory for those who are residents of Felin.
Those Elves wishing to visit Felin can attend the schools though they must audition for each school and prove their prodigious skill or prove their lineage goes back to Felin such as with a badge of rank or proof of ancestry. In these situations the schools can reject Elves auditioning.
There have been rare cases where Half-Elves have completed training at the schools and even rarer cases (such as saving the crowns life or gaining favour in an incredible manner) where non-Elves have been trained there. Though not a single person from Thornden has notably been allowed to train in the Schools.

Mythology & Lore
Felin traces their mythology back to many heroes of old and travellers and, being the base of all Elves have occassionally been accused of taking credit where it was perhaps not due.
Notable heroes of Felin include:
-Caidence Clear: A Felin Elf who visited the celestial planes herself and convinced the God-Magi to chain and banish Thornden after their sacrilegious actions in forming the ritual lands.
-The Bladesong: After defeating the Forsaken and ascending to godhood the Bladesong revisited Felin and established the schools of the bladesingers as well as teaching them the unique bladesong.
-The God-Magi: Many scholars have attempted to trace the God-Magi directly back to family's within Felin but none have fully succeeded though many believe that land is the origin of the God-Magi.
The God Destruction:
The people of Felin believe that when the God-Magi ascended they banished and destroyed the other gods of the Namarie pantheon with their raw arcane runic power. From that point the God-Magi have taken the places of those gods and that is what worshippers see when they imagine they are speaking to Vecna for example.
Part of their associated disgust with Thornden was the way they did, what Felin believed to be, was torturing the dead gods.
Their beliefs have been proved wrong on many occassions by people who have championed and visited the gods of the pantheon and the God-Magi though they still stand by them and notably, the Crown does not accept any pantheon gods that are not the God-Magi.
Cosmological Views
They believe the Elves all originate from Felin and that their moving away is merely a dilution of their bloodline.
As for other races, there is a mixture of not caring and respecting the other lands beliefs and cultures.
