The Depressed Tree is an Outer Ring inn owned by Tyrin and Denrys March , both of whom are Dwarves. They took over the tavern after Denrys retired as a miner in Bloomwilt and used their saved cash to build the Depressed Tree. Before owning the tavern, Tyrin worked for it's previous owner until he died and the pair of them took it over. The inspiration for the tavern's name was based on Denrys' nickname as he is unnaturally tall for a Dwarf standing at 5'4" and he often had a reserved and unemotional expression. It is a tavern of relatively poor quality, and its main draw is its spacious seating area and, for the few guests in the know, Denrys' links with The Drifters.
