The Kingsglaive
Kingsglaives represent a strange mixture of training, the mind of a mage and a soldier and the ability to complete a ritual shrouded in secrecy.
Apart from this though Kingsglaive are a fearsome group of warriors from Thornden that were introduced as a unit under the Dawnguard soon after their creation by The Harbingers. They may serve as guards or even adventure though every Kingsglaive knows that when they receive the call to arms they are to return to Thornden and give their last breath for their country if that is what's required.
The Kingsglaive's utilise a blend of martial prowess and crystalline summoned weapons that almost represent a piece of themselves that gift them teleportation and magical skills.
They uphold an oath in the same way a paladin may and they have the oath etched on their forms, a list of rules they follow as decreed by the Harbingers and the Triumvirate Chair.
A Kingsglaive that breaks their oath must return to Thornden to answer for their crimes or forever be powerless and hunted by the other Kingsglaives.
THE OATH OF THE KINGSGLAIVES
I will always seek to protect the oppressed and never seek to rule over them.
Weakness is a perception of ones self that I will not use as a tool.
My allies are my family and I will never betray my family.
Grim Hallow is a sacred place beyond redemptionand I will not risk my soul for it.
Thornden will always be my home no matter where I go and if it is in need I will answer the call.
THE UNIFORM OF THE KINGSGLAIVES
The Kingsglaives wear a uniform of Grey as it's primary shade with trimmings of either gold, black or blue. Most Kingsglaive's equipment is altered in some way to reflect this. The grey represents their impartiality in disputes whilst their trim colour reflects their path as a Kingsglaive.
