The Woven Providence

The woven providence barely qualify as a faction in that their most notable endeavours are their regular 'scuffles' with the Silent though their reputation precedes them in all circles, they don't take money, they can't be bought or sponsored and they don't push to recruit members... they are one of the loosest organisations in Namarie for this reason.   They are acknowledged to have a pecking order and a leader loosely known as 'The Endlessly Hemming' or 'The Endless' or The Reader who is rumoured to have founded the organisation in Vallea as one of the first [Vallean to be touched with Vallean Sight. However, it has been well documented the original reader was killed and replaced by one of her daughters. The Aasimar assassin and part-time pirate Moira.   They have their main base somewhere in Vallea... allegedly the leader utilises an artefact known as a 'dream wall' to assist them in understanding the purpose of every member of the Woven Providence and offer them jobs from the wall itself.   The Woven Providence does not have many members, all members were taught by another member of the Woven Providence and deemed 'good' enough to earn the necessary arcane tattoos to become a member of the tapestry that is the organisation.   These tattoos are generally protrayed as a small coloured threadlike line on their arm that looks like a scar at first glance.   This tattoo allows an individual to access a space known as 'The Nightmare' where they can commune with other members of the Providence and find jobs. Upon accepting a job they will wake up with a Korumbit dagger in their closed hand and their thread tattoo has reformed into the words associated with their job.   In terms of payment, a Providence member doesn't do the work with money or reward in mind. They simply know that the rewards and punishments are gifted by the fates and always ALWAYS fair.   For that is the core value of the Woven Providence. Fate. Those who become a part of the Providence don't do so because they want profits or because of their sadism and violent tendencies, that life is for the Mirrored and the Silent respectively. Those that join the Providence do so because they believe they are part of a higher purpose, ensuring fate punishes and protects those that deserve it. It is what makes them so dangerous, a member of the providence would, in a second, give their lives to ensure their target is vanquished and would not care for morals or their own safety in the moment. They know their purpose and have seen what awaits them on the other side.   It is also because of this that they don't chase or search for targets, life is precious and they know that walking their current path in life will lead them to their targets... fate is funny like that... They merely wait for the sign that they can strike.

Structure

The organisation are deeply secretive though there is a certainty that a character known as 'The Endless' leads them by using an artefact known as the Dream Wall.
