Wardstones

Dammit! They placed a wardstone on my fucking stall space... where do I trade now?!?

• A local of Xenolet curses in the morning seeing where a member of The Spooks has placed their Wardstone.

The cross between an immovable rod and a speaking stone. Spooks place this down in a town and people of Kaechaek know that using them will get them in touch with a Spook.

The stone is generally able to be carried in two hands and are placed down and can only be lifted by a Spook... often deeply inconveniencing others in a barony in Kaechaek if they are not careful with their placement.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

A spook simply needs to put down the wardstone and utter their command word and the wardstone is activated, staying in that place and capable of being accessed as a source of sending that moves to a spooks speaking stone for them to respond to.

Significance

Used by spooks to receive requests for help in their work.
