They're something not a single person has ever seen and lived to tell about.

These blind creatures lurk in the mist at dusk and never lose their prey. With supposed heightened hearing and smell, they are able to track down anyone they mark as prey using echolocation. They are known to exterminate hunting parties. Ridiculously fast and strong, it is able to mutilate a man within seconds. The last known account of this monster decimating a group was a fortnight ago, a hunting group of 15 was found ripped to shreds. One man was able to survive long enough to run from the scene. He was found with a hole in his chest gripping a note.

I was there when they found him. I was able to steal the picture. They don't need to know what is hunting them in the dark. Here is the picture. I can't imagine what that man was feeling.
