Loki

Often appearing as either a Tiefling or a jester, Loki is the god of trickery and thievery. However most of what is known about him comes from rumours and tales and unlike with the other gods there isn't actually any written proof to be found anywhere of his existence and his many exploits.
Despite all this he is still very well known and worshipped. His strange affection for rogues and tieflings however does cause people to be more wary of him than they are of other gods. Because, even though he is an Athar he is known for other taking the joke too far. It is rumoured he once even killed another god just for laughs. Hence why some straight laced people might look at him as an evil and malicious diety but honestly his trickery is practically nothing compared to that of some of the actual dark dieties.
Yet he is also seen as the god who enjoys a good party, hence why he often joins Vidall on his many exploits. He's also developped a habit of throwing said god around whenever he's in his halfling form. He seems to enjoy this greatly. 
As previously mentioned Loki also has a strong affection for rogues. As a master of deception and persuasion himself it is only natural that he favours creatures who busy themselves with much of the same things. He sees it more as an art than a crime.

However in recent years his popularity has taken a harsh blow after the tragedy that happened almost 500 years ago on the 1st of Rain's hand, the day of the fool's festival. A lot of people blame him for not protecting them on that faithful day.

Any sneaky and funny business is this god's business. Hence why he's so often worshipped by rogues, tricksters and even con-women/men as he also encourages all forms of deception and persuasion.

Fool's festival used to be dedicated to Loki. However, ever since the great massacre it has been banned... and worship of Loki has been frowned upon mostly.

Worship

There are rumours of a secret temple only accessible by only the most cunning of rogues and only the most marvelous of tricksters. However so far no one has managed to find it. Perhaps it never existed in the first place, who knows.
