Broker Net

Information brokers, also known as informants, were private consultants, smugglers, or slicers that provided information and intelligence for credits. In the galaxy, they were sometimes referred to as code dealers, infochants, or sluicers.
BrokerNet is an organization of such individuals. Veiled in secrecy, even their active members are masked and all use advanced vocal masking software, masks/helmets and usually large, baggy clothing or billowing cloaks to maintain an air of secrecy. The only way to identify one Broker from another, aside from familiar sight, is their number designation. There are at least 80 recorded numbers in active service, given that some of these numbers are in the hundreds hints that there are likely more, or the organization uses this to further throw off anyone looking into their operations.
