Captain Karyn Sandhime (a.k.a. the Master of Cruelties)
Captain of the pirate vessel known as The Grand Performance. Among the most feared members of the Ironsider's League, Captain Karyn is known for enslaving her victims, forcing her prisoners into elaborate dance numbers aboard her ships. With each ship she sinks or captures, she adds more dancers to her cruel show. She is also known to put on private performances for those she has particularly vicious fates in mind for.
Over the 50+ years she's terrorized the Seven Seas, the cruelty of her methods has become legendary. Veteran sailors and even other pirates have become traumatized, and it has become taboo to dance on the open seas. Singing is allowed, but sailors have broken down in tears from idly tapping one's foot.
