Into the Wastes

The party, along with Snorri, venture into the Wastes in search of the component needed for Snorri's invention. Snorri has brought along his harvesting supplies in the form of a suitcase that can change into a Clockwork Panther.
Taking public transportation as far east as they can, Calfein thrills and entertains the other passengers with songs like "Your Mom", earning 46 new hardcore fans and stellar word of mouth in the process. The performance distracts the party, however, and they don't notice a group of Elves swing onto the top of the train. Coming from either exit armed with bows & shortswords, they hold up the train. One sees Calfein performing in front of his bag of gold and comments on how far his family has fallen. Malcys is overlooked, but Snorri, disguised as a Dragonborn, is not.
As the Elves attempt to make their exit, the party engages them atop the train car. They impede their escape, taking down one Elf before the others are forced to flee. Heavily wounded, they still manage to jump off the train and Thorn Whip to safety, albeit without any of their loot. The party is celebrated as heroes by the other passengers, even Snorri whose disguise ended during the fight. Having reached the end of the line, the party prepares to venture into the wastelands of the east.
