The Primal Tide Nezacal (a.k.a. Teeth of the Deep)
Guarding the seas surrounding the Primal Wilds is Nezacal, Apex of the Deep. A Leviathan that was pushed from its territory in the Seven Seas in the 3rd Age, he has taken up residence in the tides between the Dragonlands and Savage Lands. Left unchecked, he grew to his current monstrous size. Unable to tame the rogue beast, the Merfolk have surrendered the territories immediately surrounding the Primal Wilds to Nezacal, who is quite content to feast on any stray creature that enters his domain.
His territory is only contested by Etali and the Great Maelstrom. The two have clashed many times, but neither can gain a decisive upper hand, thus resulting in a stalemate that has lasted for over a thousand years.
