The standing army of Respite, comprised of soldiers from across the Rose Kingdoms. Stationed in every town and village, they are the primary line of defense against outside & inside threats. In the event of an attack, warning bells are sounded, alerting civilians to stay inside and lock their doors. While fully trained for combat, the Rose Knights lack the specialized training & conditioning of the Blades in the Dark, Soulswatch, or Cathars.
The Orders provide a relatively safer outlet for potential Rose Heirs to gain valuable combat experience and popularity among the citizens. Stationed in heavily fortified areas, Rose Knights function as a standing army against local threats. Bandits, Ironsiders, criminals; anything that doesn't directly fall into the jurisdiction of the Cathars, Blades, or Soulswatch falls upon the Rose Knights.
