The minor god Sima ascended to become a principal god during the first year of the first great turbulence.

During the most tumultuous part of the First Great Turbulence, followers of Sima boomed as he was the main represented deity in places of shelter. Whether prompted by their prayers, or empowered by the boost in faith, he performed a miracle, shielding every tavern, coffee or teahouse, inn, or other place where his followers sheltered, for several weeks. This incident, coupled with the boost in follower, seems to have aided Sima's transition into the principal deity, Simasr, god of Joy, Friendship, and Hospitality.
