Heavenfall Sea

A large inland sea created when the Heavenfall Meteor struck the Nordelf Capital, causing the underground lake systems beneath to form into a large body of water over time and causing multiple rivers to run through the cracks and valleys caused by the meteors mighty impact.

History

1000 years after the coming of magic and the great divide, a huge rock of unknown origin was flying through the cosmos and came into contact with the realm of Natia, this impact caused great destructions, especially since its impact sight was that of the the capital of the Nordelves, the impact caused a ripple effect causing both many geological changes and societal ones. The Nordelves would collapse and be replaced with many different kingdoms while the impact site itself would fill with water from the underground lakes, eventually becoming the huge inland sea it is known as today.
The site also attracted many Dwarves who found great value in the metals found within the the meteors scattered fragments, and they would come to create a grand city beneath the sea that thrived from harvesting these ores that would come to be known as Demi Ore.
