Mardin's Rock

Mardin's Rock The Island is named after the benevolent Healer Mardins, who was commonly known for aiding wrong doers and criminals onto the path of redemption. Ironically enough the impenetrable prison Grimwater hold was place on Mardin's Rock to keep the lowest of societal scum of harming the innocent in Lobina. The Island of Mardin's Rock has a humble history being found in the year 5648 AGD by the explorer John Ardsworth, though it wasn't long before the explorer handed the island to the king of Lobina who begun construction of a small prison and military port. As war and crime began to run rampant in Lobina so too did the prison and military outpost of Mardin's Rock. Suddenly the small island located in the Lobina Channel began to develop traffic of soldiers and prisoners. Currently governed by the Iron Warden Marie De Remés she rules with strict discipline carving the island into an inescapable fortness. Now Mardin's Rock has become a famous island where those that are sent to rot in the prison of Grimwater Hold never return.
