The Black Greatwrym Scepter of Domination

The Black Greatwrym Scepter of Domination was an artifact of great power created by Tenebris the Greatwyrm to aid his greatest mortal ally in dominating the minds of the races his deemed lesser. The Scepter itself was said to be infused with the power of another greatwrym, which is said to be what gives it the immense range it has when dominating the minds of others.

History

It was created in Draconic invasion of northern Daemos in 3484, when the black greatwrym Tenebris granted a human called Aethelus Arnolus who had been giving useful information and easy targets in his conquests the power to keep the barbarian kingdoms under his thrall while the dragons would go on to conquer more of the lands of Daemos. It was created from the skull of a child of Tenerbris and infused with the powers of a dead greatwrym if the black dragon was to be believed, but wwhatever was said to boast its power, the results were to be believed and the man who had dubbed himself the Dragonking would lord over the barbarian kingdoms for over a thousand years using the scepter to extend his own life far beyond what is natural.
When the barbarian kingdoms united for the first time in recorded history and rose up againd the Dragonking of the North, it is said Aethelus fled south to seek aid from his master only to find that Tenebris had been killed by a mortal man known as Freidrick Von Dracnasorva. Horrorfied the frail old mage tried fleeing further south but was ambushed by a horde of orcs and killed with all records of the scepter being lost thereafter,

Significance

The Artifact is a powerful weapon that if found by the wrong being could lead to great misery within the lands of Daemos.
