Elves

The magical race that inherits the Great Plains forest region [Dentro]. They live upwards of 400 years but most dying around the 350 year mark. The biggest thing about them is they divided themselves up into two classification: Sun Elves and Moon Elves. I still have yet to find a difference between them, besides the places they choose to reside. The Sun Elves take the Southern city of Dastor, well the Moon Elves reside in the Northern city of Mastor. They have strange tradition and ideas about what life is but yet they live in grace with the forest dividing the two cities. My travels has lead me through their territory but a few time, yet the differences between the cities are quite extreme. Mastor, talks about the Great War: a period of great darkness in where the world fell apart and dividing into the current races. But then a might warrior from the forest rose up to defend them from harm, they called him Syaneth (sigh-an-eth), The first Elven lord. This bringer of life came forth to defend the Elves from the ensuing darkness. Then they say he lost his life defending them, in which they began to hear the wind talk to them. This took to the name Whisper of the Wind, which every race to this day says they can hear. Now for Dastor, they say this figure came back from his conquest and set up a structure of ruling the Elves. This lead to the Sun elves designating themselves as the ruler of elves and the conquest of the four elven cities. This brutal massacre in the name of Syaneth, lead many wondering why he let two be completely wiped off the face of the earth.
Thus is the story of the Elves. A broken and divided race with the essence of magic flowing through them. How in Synath's grave did they last to this very day? Tis a mystery, the kind I haven't the slightest clue to uncover but as I go deeper into their history maybe Enzro will have some knowledge upon this area I inquire about.

With all the mishaps, conquest, and corruption the Elves have progressed farther into the age of politics then the other around them. If we follow the path then Chron, end our time.
