Breksand
A small trading town in the north of the Cyrdian Empire, Breksand sits at the border to Tsumoenia.
Government
Breksand used to be ruled by a mayor elected by the town's merchant class, but since Tsumoenian aggression on the Cyrdian Empire's borders began, it has been under the control of the military, with the highest ranked person in the town at any given time being the de-facto ruler. The laws and policies are now enforced by military police.
Defences
A sizable company of the Cyrdian military is currently occupying the town. This is, first and foremost, in order to deal with the increased bandit activity of late, but the soldiers are also there to protect Breksand from a potential Tsumoenian attack, and to prepare to invade Tsumoenia itself, should the order come down from Emperor Cyrdin.
Industry & Trade
As a trading town, Breksand imports and exports goods from across the Cyrdian Empire and its neighboring lands. Merchant caravans are constantly coming in and out, and there are many opportunities for mercenaries to find employment guarding these valuable assets.
